Apartment Vs House Living Green
The term green is used in more and more domains with the passing of each year. I’m sure that you have heard of it. Green cars, green jobs, green buildings, and so on. This term is applied to a product or whatever when that certain product is safe for the environment.
A green car would be a car which either pollutes very little or uses alternate sources of energy which means it doesn’t pollute at ell. The same goes with the green buildings: such buildings have very low polluting emissions during their creation, their lifespan, and during their destruction. Many would desire a green house which would be able to offer them all the commodities, and to assure them a healthier life in the meantime, without polluting the atmosphere.

In this article I am going to present you some information about apartment vs house living green because there are some minor differences between these two. You will see that most of the tips which can be applied to a house can also be applied to an apartment. First I will start with the differences. When you live in a house you have the option of using alternate energy such as solar, wind, water, biomass, you get the picture.
The benefit of owning a house is the fact that you can place the solar panels, or wind turbines anywhere. You can place them in your yard, on the roof, and so on. When you live in an apartment you can’t just do that, you have to talk with the other people who live in the building and they must agree to allow you to install let’s say a solar panel on the roof.

Another difference is the fact, that the house having larger sizes requires better isolation which means that you either have to install certain green windows on a house, or use certain materials when constructing it. Speaking of construction, when living in a house you have the possibility of fully “customizing” it. If you want to use certain materials when it is built you have the luxury of doing so, but in an apartment you don’t have this privilege because it was either already built or even if it is in the planning stag you can’t tell someone what kind of materials to use.
These are the main differences. Now for the similarities, you will see that most of them are pretty obvious, and anyone can do them at home. One thing you could do is to create your own cleaning products by combining ingredients such as baking soda, vinegar, and so on. It will be much cheaper and less polluting. Also you could use certain things in order to save energy: for the shower use a low-flow shower head and for the electrical devices use a gadget which controls all the energy supplied to them so that you can turn them completely off whenever you please. These were some fact about apartment vs house living green.
