More and more people have decided to go green and live an eco-friendly life which will give them the opportunity to help the environment and in the same time to be healthier as well. You might be one of those people who desire to help the nature which needs as much help as possible.




You might have also heard of the green products which are used by such “green people”, but you don’t exactly know what they are, you would like someone to define the green products. There are many debates when it comes to what makes a green product, well… green. Many disagree when it comes to some features and this might be very confusing. A general definition of a green product would be: the green product is such a product which does not damage the environment in terms of how it is manufactured. The process of creating the green product should not harm in any way the environment, or the negative impact by the process should be kept at a minimum. Because of this, toxic components or chemicals should not be included in the creation of these products. In most of the cases the eco-friendly green products are made out of recycled materials.

In case that the green products are not made out of recyclable materials, it is advisable that the materials used for the creation to not require long transport distances. The waste resulted from the process of creating the product should be stored in special places from where it could not harm the environment and also to be recycled if that is possible. The green product should not consume too much energy during its lifespan. This is applicable for the materials used in construction and in any other similar domains. Speaking of lifespan, a green product should have a very lengthy life. This is essential because the longer the life less times it will be created which means less pollution.

Green products can be found in almost all the domains fro health to cleaning, and so on. There are special light bulbs which can be used for example in order to save energy, as they consume 75% less energy than the regular ones. The windows can be green as well, as they assure a better insulation thus require less heat which means that the energy bill will be reduced as well.

Clothing can also be green. There are stylish clothes made out of 100% cotton which do not pollute the environment. There are also green cloths for pets made out of hemp or other materials. There are baby diapers made out of cloth as well. As you can see there are many green products to choose from.
