Eco Friendly Green Living For Dogs

It is said that dogs are a man’s best friends, and that we have to take good care of them because they will also take good care of us. We all want our dogs to be happy and live a wonderful life, hopefully surrounded by big yards where they can run and feel free, eat healthy and natural food and grow strong to protect us when we need it. Still, what about raising your dog in the green living spirit?

Most people are asked whether they would like to live in a cleaner environment and they often answer, “Yes, for sure”. The eco trend has become highly popular in the last years and thousands of shops are opened now which sell everything green and natural, from eco-friendly health care products, to organic cotton bed sheats, pillows and clothes, to bio fruits and vegetables. As one can see, we are all going green and, from one hand, this is a positive thing with positive effects in the future. Still, if people are asked if they also agree with extending this trend to their company dogs also, they might scratch their heads first, but in the end confirm. Why not, in the end? Ultimately, pets and especially dogs, will benefit from a cleaner environment, as they are part a part of our lives and a part of nature, in the end. Eco friendly living is starting to take over the U.S. and pets, especially dogs are in the front of this movement. How come you might ask?

First of all, you should know that living green starts at home. We all take good care of ourselves by using as many natural products and ingredients as possible, in order to cut off allergies or other skin problems that could affect us. So, why not doing the same when it comes to our dogs? The best for my dogs, for sure! Always look for natural ingredients when it comes to your pet’s food, as it is the best and will also assure your dog a healthy grow. To make yourself a better owner, try avoid products which contain a long list of ingredients or chemicals with a hard pronunciation and always make sure that the bottles in which the products are packed, are made from recyclable materials. In addition, avoid systemic veterinary products for flea control and keep a proper hygiene to your pet by washing him/her with the best shampoos and cleaning their fur for a healthy glow, often.

Still, because the offer on the market is rather weak as it is only at the beginning, the whole hard work and the research has to be done by the pet owner; he has to constantly search for new natural and bio products to offer the best care for thier dog.
