The green buildings use less energy because of the materials from which they are constructed. The materials used in the construction of a green building are renewable, durable, recyclable, and so on. This means that they will replenish very fast and thanks to this, the risk of depleting them does not exist. Because they are recyclable, the green materials can be used more than once which is extremely beneficial. When a building is constructed in most of the cases it will result in lots of waste.

In the case of a green building the waste can be reused which means that there will be far less pollution. The durability of a material is very important as well. Since the materials are more durable this means that the building will be more durable as well. Because of this the building will require far less maintenance and repair which is beneficial both financially and when it comes to protecting and aiding the environment.
