The green materials which have been used more often lately in the construction of certain buildings are beneficial for several reasons. The first and most important reason is the fact that they do not pollute the atmosphere and there are multiple reasons for this. The green materials should also have a very low toxicity. Many of the products which you regularly use in your home for various things are pretty toxic both for the environment and for you. Cleaning products can be very toxic on the long run, because they contain certain substances which are harmful. The light bulbs also contain lots of mercury which can be hazardous for you and especially for the environment.

Instead of using regular light bulbs make sure that you use CFL or LED light bulbs as they do not contain as much mercury and they use less energy which is also a plus.
