The green movement is on a constant evolution, and you can see it spread in all the domains. From vehicles to buildings, and so on, the green movement is getting more and more popular and more and more obvious. The movement comes as a result of the people’s realization regarding the state in which the environment is. We as humans have polluted the environment and we have placed it in the state in which it is nowadays and we are the only ones who can make a change.

Another positive result of this movement besides the awareness of the people is the opportunity to find a job. You are aware of the current economical situation, and you know that there is a worldwide crisis. Jobs are harder to find than anytime before, yet thanks to the green movement new job and career opportunity are available.


There are lots of domains in which green jobs are or will be available and there is a reason for this. Most of the new green jobs are not new at all. Don’t worry; I am going to explain this soon as I am going to present a green jobs guide. First of all you should know that a green job is not exactly a profession most of the times, but it is a possibility of suing your skills from a certain domain, in the green domain, so to speak.

For example an architect who is responsible for designing a green building will use his architect skills, the same skills he acquired in college. He won’t have to go to a new college and get a degree in green architecture. He will still be an architect but in the same time he will have a green job.

There are many occasions in which this would happen. The same goes with a welder who would use his skills in order to weld a solar panel. This is the reason why some say that the green jobs do not exist; they say that they are temporary because they last only as long as the required project. This is not true though as there are certain jobs which have been recently invented and which have appeared as a result of the green movement.

One such job is the green consultant job which requires one to instruct others on how to live their lives or run their business in a greener fashion.

This job as you can tell is a relatively new one because some years ago the concept of living green was not that popular even if it existed. More and more people are using the services of a green consultant which means that this job is very lucrative and can be a great career opportunity in the future.
