The people’s desires for living an environmental friendly life are constantly growing. They have realized that the nature is in danger more than ever. The global warming and greenhouse effect are all consequences of human’s wrong exploitation of nature. The development of the technology in the industrial age brought various machines and means of polluting the nature. It wasn’t an intentional hard, the evolution of man depended on them, but because of this the nature had to suffer.




As I previously stated, more and more people are living the green life. Each does its best to live it, whether by making minor changes such as using less water or by making greater ones such as using eco-friendly vehicles. The term “green” can be heard more and more. Green architecture, green jobs, and so on. I’m sure you have heard of green products and maybe some of you are not so sure what they are.

I’ll give you a green product definition: a green product is one that causes almost no damage to the environment in terms of how it is created. The green product definition also says that usually such a product is made out of recyclable and renewable materials. The way in which the product is made is crucial, as a product cannot be considered green if for its creation have been used various toxic and harmful chemicals. The transport length for such a material should not be too long as that will be a dangerous thing for the nature. After their creation it is essential that the waste resulted from the process to be stored whether in special places whether to be recycled. The waste should not by any means be harmful to the environment.

During its lifespan, such a material should not require an exaggerated amount of energy. The process of creating such a material should not require too much energy as well, nor the process of disposing it. A green product is one that is “cleaner”, saves more energy and money, and works better than a regular product. The lifespan of a green product is very important, in fact, it is one of the most important aspects. It should have a very long lifespan, so that it shouldn’t be recreated or repaired very often.

There are lots and lots of areas in which green products are being used. One of the most popular areas is construction, as more and more buildings are made out of green materials. For example, the walls and the ceilings might be made out of special materials which keep the house cooler during the winter.

There are green products for babies, such as cloth diapers, or toys made out of wood, and other natural products. There are green products for pets as well, beds made out of hemp, collars made out of recycled rubber, and so on.
