Green Products For Students
Being green is certainly a priority to most of the American college students, as the new generations conceive faster that nature belongs to us all and most of all, belongs to our followers, who need to live in a greener and healthier world. This is why, many American college students tend to join ecologist organizations, as well as other NGOs which protects nature and warns about the dangers of massive pollution, world heating processes and so on.
And for those of you who are really concerned about the environment, here is a list of products, more attractive and appealing to students, which you can use in order to become a “greener” and a more responsible person.
First of all, students can buy reusable bags. environmentally friendly and adorable. Since their introduction by green chains like Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods several years ago, reusable bags have cut the annual production of six billion plastic bags practically in half, thus helping keeping the planet a safer and a greener place. And because students do a lot of groceries and shopping, carrying a reusable plastic bag would mean a lot to the environment.
Also, due to massive amounts of plastic wasted every year, many countries across the globe introduced the so-called “green tax” for plastic bags made out of recycled and bio-degradable materials, so that anyone that buys products from a supermarket and doesn’t carry with him a bag, should pay an unsignificant fee in order to keep this Earth green.

Fibered towels. Let’s face, we all use towels daily, almost anytime, anywhere. From cleaning daily mess, spills, dirt, shoes, split things as well as cleaning excessive make up and oh, so many other uses, students especially use a lot of towels. Anytime, anywhere. And let me tell you something- yes, those towels are made out of paper which is made out of cut trees. Not good, huh?
Around 90 billion tons of paper are consumed every year by America only, and trust me, there’s a lot of trees in those. However, students who use paper towels to sponge up the party foul in beer pong should instead be buying similar products, but made out of different materials, such as cotton. You can use the newly released Skoy products, which is a colorful cotton-based towel that has the capacity to absorb 15 times its own weight, and you can buy packs of 4 towels at a very low rate, $5.99.

Recycled toilet paper. Yes, in deed, you can buy toilet paper made out of recycled paper. Sure, it probably won’t smell as Zewa deluxe packs or be as soft as the one mentioned before, but don’t worry, you won’t get scratches either on your precious bottom. And thanks to intelligent marketing, there are now available on the market plenty of companies that sell recycled toilet paper, so you can chose the one you like most. Our suggestion is to try Earth Essentials, with a four-pack at the affordable price of $4.69.
