Is Orange Green And Red Good Color Combinations For A Living Room

Painting and decorating your living room is not an easy job to do; it requires massive amounts of free time, imagination and money and the result cannot always be fully satisfying. This is why, the best thing to do is to let a specialized person to take care of that- at least you’ll have someone to blame and fight with if you’re not entirely pleased with the results. Still, if you are looking for a more personal approach and some rougher results, you can always take it into your own hands and hope for the best.

If you are redecorating the living room, always start with the color of the walls because, they are the most important and occupy the biggest part of the entire room. If you are looking for something rather modern, chic and vibrant, choosing electric colors is the best option as it will boost the entire room with light and energy, vital for a good state of spirit.

For more courageous persons who are not afraid of an itchy and eye hurting result, choosing orange or red as a basic wall color could be a viable option. These colors offer energy and good vibes for the entire room, while they also add class and elegance. And if the walls are rather daring and out of the ordinary, it’s not the case to be modest or plain with the color of your furniture. Opt for a pale green shade for chairs, sofa and dressings, and you will see that the result is absolutely astonishing, vibrant and full of class. And if you really look for a unique style and a personal print to the whole place, enlight even more the room by adding some turquoise or vibrant green curtains and matching pillows and carpet.

If you think that the orange or red walls are enough, you can opt for more simple and quiet shades such as white, pale green or even black. Still, you cannot jump over accessories, as they are the most important and the ones which make the difference in the room. Buy some dark-modeled curtains and accessorize the whole room with glass and crystal shining goods, from glass tables to mirrors and a black crystaled chandelier. Keep the same pattern and extend it even to light spots and light covers to obtain a playful, romantic and yet classy result.

Not fully satisfied? Add a third vibrant color also in the name of turquoise or jade at least for some furniture pieces or add an organic and green corner with natural plants, organic cotton pillows or carpets, as well as small decor object made out of recycled products. Opt for some river stones and a waterfall background and you will turn your whole room into an eye-catchy, one of a kind experience both for your family as well as for visitors.
